Ronn is Managing Director and founder of Capital Advice Pty Ltd. He has 15 years of financial services, investor relations, capital markets and investment banking experience. Prior to establishing Capital, Advice, Ronn worked at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings, UBS Warburg and Price Waterhouse.

At UBS, Ronn was Deputy Head of the Emerging Companies, Building Materials, and Telco/Media sector teams, working on a broad range of M&A and capital markets transactions, and advised on 21 completed transactions with a total value of over $9bn, including:

John Fairfax Holdings (now Fairfax Media) on its $250m initial public offering of PReSSes (reset preference shares)
BAT plc on its $1.1bn acquisition of the minority interests in British American Tobacco Australasia
Email on its $1.1bn takeover defence of a hostile offer from Smorgon Steel
CPH Investment Corp on its $436m secondary sell-down of a 14.9% shareholding in John Fairfax Holdings
Smorgon Steel / OneSteel on its $55m divestment of Email Metering
ANI on its $1.3bn takeover defence of hostile offers from Evans Deakin Industries and Smorgon Steel.

From 2010 to 2012 Ronn was a Non-executive Director of University Co-operative Bookshop Limited, and Chairman of its Audit, Risk & Corporate Governance Committee. He is also actively involved in community, professional and business bodies, was made a Williamson Fellow after graduating from Leadership Victoria's 2006 Williamson Community Leadership Programme, and is a School Councillor on his children's school.

Ronn is a Chartered Accountant, Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW, Fellow of FINSIA, and completed a Master of Laws (Sydney University) and Bachelor of Commerce/Laws (UNSW).

Cary joined Capital Advice in March 2010, and brings with him 25 years of experience in the financial services industry - 6 years with National Mutual, 15 years with Goldman Sachs JBWere (Executive Director and Equity partner), and 4 years with Corporate File (Executive Director, and Head of Advisory).

Cary is a qualified actuary experienced in equity capital markets, financial modelling, corporate finance, and investment banking. At Goldman Sachs JBWere, some of Cary's key advisory assignments included:

leading the IPO advisory team for the float of IOOF
leading the IPO advisory team for the restructure and float of Tattersall's
providing corporate finance advice to AXA Asia Pacific Holdings
takeover defence mandates.

Cary is an experienced presenter, and also lectures at Melbourne University. He has also been involved in a number of community organisations.

Cary is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, and completed a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours (Melbourne University), Dip. Ed (Melbourne University) and Certificate in Actuarial Techniques (London Institute of Actuaries).

Eric Kuret

Since joining Capital Advice in September 2008, Eric has been a key team member on a number of advisory assingments including the sale of Kingsway Taitz to TMF Group, and the proposed merger of Coretrack Limited with Imdex Limited.

Prior to joining Capital Advice, Eric was Senior Financial Accountant at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited, dealing closely with Group Treasury in accounting for a range of financial instruments and various capital management strategies. Prior to this, Eric was a Graduate Analyst for over 2 years.

Eric's involvement in the community has seen him captain the Coburg Tigers VFL team (2005) as well as sitting on various sporting committees.

Eric is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (LaTrobe).

Belinda Barton

Belinda joined in September 2010 as an Analyst. She previously worked at the nab in a retail, customer service and advisory role, and prior to this as a graduate Equities Officer at Westpac for 2 years.

Belinda has completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Economics and Marketing (UTS), and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.

Kate joined in March 2011 as an Analyst. She previously worked as an analyst in the deal origination team at Primary Capital (private equity firm) in London for over 2 years. Prior to this, Kate was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young Transaction Advisory Services for 2.5 years.

Kate has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) / Laws (University of Tasmania), and the EVCA (European Venture Capital Association) Foundation Course for Investment Professionals in Paris.

Mark Lavery

Mark joined in January 2012 as an Analyst. He previously worked as a Policy Analyst in the Markets Division at the Reserve Bank of Australia for 2 years. Prior to this he held various floor roles at Crown Casino, and was an Australian Defence Force Army Reservist Infantry soldier.

Mark has completed a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours (La Trobe University) and recevied various awards and commendations in recognition of excellence in his academic studies.

Joshua Bennett

Joshua joined in January 2012 as a Graduate Analyst. He was previously a Finance Tutor at the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology, and prior to that was a Customer Service Representative at Westpac.

Joshua has completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Law (University of Queensland) and a Bachelor of Business with Honours in Finance (Queensland University of Technology).

Margaret joined in October 2011 as Office Manager. She was previously a Director and co-own of Bellco Marketing, a substantila family business that distributed gourmet food products. Prior to this, Margaret was Finance Director of Qanstruct, a commercial and industrial construction company with turnover in excess of $35 million. Both prior roles saw Margaret manage the administrative and back office functions of fast growgin small/medium businesses.
